GM's Opel to build next generation electric powered vehicle in 2017



general cars leader government Mary Barra on Thursday said the employer's eu department Opel would construct an low-priced 5-seater electric powered vehicle, the Ampera-e, in 2017.

the car shares the same underpinnings as GM's different electric car, the Chevrolet Bolt.

"Like its dual, the Chevrolet Bolt EV, the Ampera-e guarantees to convert the electrical automobile market in Europe as the first EV that mixes lengthy variety at an inexpensive fee," Barra told an industry convention.
